Almost every car-producing company in whole Europe would love to achieve the level of growth that Audi managed to make in the last two decades. This auto-maker, starting from sells in Western Europe, is now successfully competing with auto giants all over the world. A lot of urban markets in third-world countries have allowed Audi to raise their profit margin greatly; at the same time, company started dealership in several major Indian cities due to its quickly developing economy.
Nowadays progress wasn't so clear to predict at the point of creation of this Bavarian-based company in 1899, but its founder August Horch placed his emphasis on making novelty automobiles for auto racings because of its great popularity at that time. This decision has justified itself at the timeline. The five-decade inclusion of brand name into the Auto Union's portfolio also brought huge dividends to the company. Nevertheless the Volkswagen company group owns this historically strong brand now, the four circles that represent Audi cars are still at the place where they helped to set the brand on its way.
